29th NIFDA AGM

The 29th Northern Ireland Food and Drink Association AGM is taking place on 4th June 2025 at Craigavon Civic Centre. The event is open to members and non-members, to be joined by guest speaker Alan Ramsay, Director of Trade, Sectors and Innovation.

The AGM gives guests the opportunity to engage with policy makers and industry leaders to share their perspectives on the challenges facing the sector, as well as the opportunities for sustainable growth.

2024 AGM

Last year, the 28th AGM of the Northern Ireland Food and Drink Association took place on 8th May 2024 at the Craigavon Civic Centre, where members were joined by Fintan McCann, Head of Food Education at CAFRE who shared insights on collaboration between academia and industry, and how we can attract bright and ambitious young people to build their careers in Northern Ireland food and drink.

The meeting also saw the appointment of Professor Ursula Lavery MBE as the new Chair of its board. Ursula is Technical and R&D Director at Pilgrim’s Europe, including Moy Park, and she takes over from immediate past Chair George Mullan. She will hold the position for two years. Simon Fitzpatrick, Group Commercial Director at Coca-Cola HBC has been appointed as NIFDA Vice Chair.
