Appetite for Growth Industry Breakfast 2017

The Annual NIFDA Appetite for Growth Conference was held on Thursday 21st September in The Carriage Rooms, Montalto Estate, Ballynahinch.

Business leaders at the Northern Ireland Food and Drink Association (NIFDA) ‘Appetite for Growth’ conference  heard how a strong trade deal with Europe post Brexit will be vital to protect the future of the province’s biggest export industry.

The annual event, which was hosted by NIFDA and supported by Bank of Ireland and the Department of Agriculture, Environment and Rural Affairs, addressed the challenges and opportunities Brexit presents for food and drink businesses here.

NIFDA Dinner

  The 22nd Annual NIFDA Dinner, in partnership with Danske Bank took place on Thursday 15 November 2018 in the Hilton Hotel Belfast.  The Guest Speaker was John Paul Scally, Managing Director, Lidl Ireland. The biennial Northern Ireland Food and Drink Awards are the most important awards in Northern Ireland’s entire business calendar. That is because some 100,000 private sector jobs depend on the agri-food supply chain with an industry turnover of £5bn.
