Michael Moreland has been Chief Executive of the Andrews Group and various subsidiary companies since 1992.
After obtaining a Law degree from Queen’s University, Belfast and qualifying as a Chartered Accountant with Price Waterhouse he spent three years in the oil industry before joining the Andrews Group in 1985. Michael then led a management buyout of Andrews in 1987 and it has remained a privately owned group of companies whose interests centre on flour milling, feed milling and property development.
Michael holds directorships of several associated companies and is currently Treasurer of the Northern Ireland Food and Drink Association. He is past President of the National Association of British and Irish Millers as well as being a past President of both the Northern Ireland Grain Trade Association and the Northern Ireland Food and Drink Association.
He is married to Penny and they have three children; Charlie, Cathy and Beth. He enjoys all sports, particularly golf and cricket.
